Day 1: Friday

Arrival in Vukovar is scheduled for late afternoon, with check-in at the elegant Villa Rosa* – a place that harmoniously combines comfort, privacy and subtle luxury. Spacious and bright rooms, a soothing atmosphere and carefully designed details create a feeling of an instant break from everyday life. During your stay, Villa Rosa becomes your personal oasis by the Danube, a space where time slows down and relaxation comes naturally. After a short refreshment, the evening is reserved for a relaxed but refined dinner in a selected restaurant. With top-notch local specialties, a glass of Slavonian wine and a pleasant atmosphere, a weekend dedicated to enjoyment, closeness and shared moments begins. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Saturday

We start the day with a relaxed breakfast, followed by a walk through the baroque core of Vukovar with an expertly guided tour. Through elegant streets and harmonious architecture, the history of the city is revealed through details, stories and the spirit of the former bourgeois Vukovar. The walk takes us to the Vukovar City Museum, located in the impressive Baroque Eltz Castle, where the rich past of the city is revealed through art, tradition and authentic museum exhibitions. After the museum, we visit the Water Tower. The climb to the lookout rewards with the most beautiful panoramic view of Vukovar and the Danube, a moment that is remembered and felt. Lunch is organized in one of the city restaurants, and the afternoon is left for free enjoyment and relaxation - a walk along the Danube, a stay in the Adica park-forest or simply time for two, without rushing.

After lunch, an optional excursion is possible: a trip to Ilok, the easternmost city in Croatia and the capital of wine. The excursion includes a walk through the historic center, a visit to the Ilok cellars with a tasting of top-quality wines, during which you will find out which wine was drunk at the English court and why it acquired royal status. The evening is rounded off with a romantic dinner in a pleasant atmosphere, with fine flavors and a glass of wine, followed by a return to the accommodation and overnight stay.

Day 3: Sunday

Sunday begins with breakfast and check-out from the accommodation, and we conclude the weekend with a visit to the Museum of Vučedol Culture – a unique space where the story of one of Europe's most important prehistoric civilizations is revealed through contemporary architecture and a superb exhibition. Peaceful, inspiring and eventful, this visit is the ideal end to a romantic weekend before returning home.
